Sketch 4: It's a Wolver-doodle!

So as promised, (and in darn fine time, too) I present a second sketch today and announce that I am all caught up! Dave and I are both huge Marvel zombie's, and we clearly love drawing men in tights, so expect a fair amount of Marvel comic characters in the coming weeks. I'm already getting giddy over upcoming Thor sketches. For now, here's some angry Wolverine awesomeness.

Daily Sketchblog, Day 3 (ish)

Hey everyone!

Hope you had a kickin' weekend (that's right, I'm taking 'Kickin'' back). So i know I didn't post yesterday, but I got busy. A friend is in town from Saskatchewan and the Sheena and I were playing host's with the most's. Anyhoo, Dave did not disappoint and posted a Daredevil sketch, and I needed to match. I think I'll try to do another sketch tonight to catch up.

Oh, also, the new Amon Amarth album came out today. Buy it. It's the soundtrack to bludgeoning someone with an axe.

Also also... I spelled 'bludgeoning' correctly on the first try. Go me.

Daily Sketchblog, Day 2

Day 2 is a success, I haven't bailed on this yet! I know it's past my 11:00 posting deadline, but I honestly had this bad boy done before 10. I just had to finish it at the pub and I couldn't scan or post it from there.

Anyway, for todays entry, Dave suggested we do a Zombie/Viking theme. Needless to say I was all up in that bitch! Hope you like.

Me vs. The Sketchblog vs. Dave

Evening, Internet!

So lately a friend of mine I work with, Babyface Dave, were lamenting our desires to sketch more, and even actually maintain, our sketchblogs. But with life being what it is and both of us having full time jobs which are sadly not related our chosen fields (Dave being an animator, myself being a graphic designer/illustrator) we find ourselves more quality doodle time. So we decided that we should challenge each other into doing a sketch everyday and post it before 11:00 pm every night.

Finally! A foe thats not quite as colossal as the Leviathan that is PROCRASTINATION (please say in a deep, dramatic tone for effect)!!! I mean, I'm sure I could oust Dave at being the more dedicated sketcher!

So with that in mind I present my first entry into the for-real-this-time-I-promise-to-be-good-and-draw-everyday SKETCHBLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOGGGG!!!!! The best thing about a bad movie, the most-underused Villian of ever, the meanest Sith this side of Omicron-Persei 8, DAAAAAARRRTTTHHH MAAAAAAAAUUUUUUUUUUUUUULLLLLL!
